i-team Global is officially certified as a B Corporation

i-team Global, developer of innovative cleaning solutions, has been officially certified as a B Corporation (B Corp). This means that the Eindhoven-based company has joined a global movement of companies that meet high standards in terms of social and environmental performance, transparency, and responsible entrepreneurship.

More than a milestone

For i‑team, B Corp is not a first step but a validation of principles that have shaped the company from the start. “For us, B Corp is not a starting point, but a confirmation of what we have always done: doing business with a positive impact. For people, for the planet, and for how we work together,” says CEO Frank van de Ven.

“From the very beginning, the cleaner has been central to i-team. Our ergonomic machines save time and reduce physical strain. Through our global i-partner network, we ensure that cleaners everywhere receive the right knowledge and support to do their work better and more easily. And ultimately, everyone benefits from this: cleaner, healthier spaces are better for cleaners, users, and visitors.”

From clean floors to clean drinking water

i-team has also been making an impact outside the cleaning sector for many years. Since 2015, the company has been a permanent partner of Made Blue, the foundation that makes clean drinking water available in areas where it is still scarce. For every liter of water saved by an i-mop, i-team donates the same amount to Made Blue projects. To date, this has resulted in more than 1.7 billion liters of clean drinking water.

In addition, i-team supports two independent foundations:

  • i-support, which is committed to helping vulnerable young people and the elderly in Eindhoven and Veghel.
  • WE-support, which raises funds through events where 100% of the proceeds go directly to charities.

Certification as a framework for the future

With B Corp certification, i-team now has an internationally recognized standard for measuring its own impact and raising the bar structurally. In the first B Impact Assessment, i-team achieved a score of 91.5 points, well above the minimum threshold of 80 points.

“Certification is not the end goal. It is the beginning of a new chapter. The standards are tightened every three years. We embrace that challenge because it encourages us to prove time and again that ‘better business’ is not just about what we make, but about how we work, every single day.”
