Carpet maintenance made remarkably easy

The royal carpet treatment
Rethink carpet maintenance
Why wait until your carpet looks dirty?
We clean hard floors regularly to keep them looking good. But with carpets, we often wait until dirt becomes visible. The problem? Carpets hide dirt deep within their fibres, beyond the reach of regular vacuuming.
Inspired by the agility of the i-mop, the i-carpet 46 makes regular carpet maintenance easier. It combines low-moisture encapsulation cleaning with powerful mechanical action to loosen dirt from carpet fibres.
A carpet is a major investment. So why replace it sooner than necessary?
- Heavy equipment
- Lots of water
- Long drying times
- Early replacement
Let’s get to the bottom of it
How low-moisture encapsulation works
-
Dirt is trapped
Dirt settles between carpet fibres or sticks to them, making it difficult to remove with vacuuming alone.
-
Apply the cleaning solution
The i-carpet 46 sprays i.61 Carpet Cleaner onto the carpet to prepare the fibres for cleaning.
-
Loosen and absorb dirt
The counter-rotating SuperZorb pads work the solution into the fibres, loosening embedded dirt while absorbing some moisture and soil.
-
Encapsulate the dirt
As the solution dries, it binds the remaining loosened dirt into small, dry particles.
-
Vacuum it away
Once the carpet is dry, a separate vacuum cleaner removes the encapsulated dirt particles.

Frequently asked questions about the i-carpet 46
-
Vacuuming removes loose dirt, but some dirt remains attached to carpet fibres. The i-carpet 46 helps loosen this dirt through low-moisture encapsulation. Once dry, remaining encapsulated dirt can be removed by vacuuming.
-
The integrated spray function allows targeted treatment using i.60 Carpet Spot Spray and PolyPlus pads. Results depend on the type and age of the stain.
-
No. The i-carpet 46 loosens dirt with cleaning solution and counter-rotating pads. After drying, remaining encapsulated dirt must be removed with a separate vacuum cleaner.
-
Drying time takes approximately 15 minutes but varies depending on carpet type, ventilation and the amount of solution used. The low-moisture process avoids soaking the carpet, but it must be allowed to dry before the final vacuuming step.
